Leaked images have shown pics of the summer 2011 Hero Factory 3.0 sets. Stringer and Bulk are back and Breez and Surge and Evo are gone. Evo is replaced by Rocka 3.0. The New villain is the Witch Doctor and the story is set on what seems to be a jungle planet. It looks like the Hero's helmets mught be back to the glatorian head. I'm totaly psyched about these new sets and can't wait for Toy Fair, which is opening on February 13th, to reveal better pics of them. It doesn't look like there will be any vehicles.
I've seen this stuff and it looks awesome. I posted my overall thoughts of the sets on my hero factory blog. In my opinion they look a lot better than 2.0
ReplyDeleteI am way more excited about these than the 2.0. I love the jungle theme. The jungle was always or almost always my favorite toa. The Witch Doctor looks really cool. Nex looks OK, ican't really see Rocka. Stringer looks alright too, but Stormer, Furno, and Bulk look the best from what I can see.
ReplyDeleteI agree. What people didn't like about Hero Factory at first was the fact that their wasn't much of a story but 3.0 has to have a great story behind it. I want to see Rocka's story because he seems to be the main character for this wave. Also, is it just me or does Bulks new mask remind you of Breez?
ReplyDeleteBulks helmet reminds me more of an alien. I hope Rocka isn't the main guy. I like him but Furno and Stormer should still be the main people (or robots). I can't wait to see the january 2012 sets. The only reason I'm thinking that far aheaed is because if they're called Hero Factory 4.0 I will be pissed. There's gotta be a line somewhere where the _.0 stops.
ReplyDeleteI liked the Idea of 2.0 but then when I saw 3.0 it just stated to get boring. I want a completely new set of Heroes for 2012 instead of the old ones then maybe bring the old ones back later like they did with the Toa Nuva in Bionicle.
ReplyDeletenice i may not get these sets straight away because i'm going to save my money for the 2.0s, I've suddenlt got really pysched about it because of the ordeal of fire tv series.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there was going to be a tv series. Is that commercial for a game or for the tv series? Anyway, I already have Surge 2.0. He's really cool. Hopefully I'll be able to get the rest of them soon.
